server software offering the highest levels of data encryption. This ensures that
all of the information entered on the secure payment form is encrypted.
All communications between The Children's Poetry Bookshelf and Protx that relate
to your orders are conducted using unique reference codes. These enable both parties
to identify an order and a customer without requiring The Children's Poetry Bookshelf
to have access to credit or debit card information.

How The
Poetry Book Society, owner of the Children's Poetry Bookshelf uses the information
you give us
When you, as a member of the Children's
Poetry Bookshelf, place an order we will ask for your name, email address and
delivery address. You can also enter your phone number if you wish. We use this
information to process and fulfil your orders and to enable you to keep track
of the progress of your order. Once you have entered these details you need not
do so again, simply click on Login or My Account and you will see details of previous
orders and your chosen delivery address. You will not see your credit or debit
card details because we do not hold this information.
The Poetry Book
Society, which owns the Children's Poetry Bookshelf, may use the personal information
you give us, when you place an order, or request a newsletter for example, to
inform you of important changes to the site and special offers and promotions
we think could be of interest to you. You will always be given the opportunity
to opt out of receiving such information and if at any time you change your mind
and no longer wish to receive emails from us, please let us know by emailing info@poetrybooks.co.uk.
